Base Salary
$282k - $353k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical win for supported Security deals through discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.
- Serve as the security architecture SME for ransomware recovery, immutable and air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and DSPM.
- Design reference architectures and lead technical workshops, POCs, and pilots across regulated industries.
- Create account-specific solution briefs, architecture diagrams, executive technical narratives, and business cases.
- Understand customer technology footprints, support security partner ecosystem co-sell activities, and provide field feedback for the product roadmap.
- Maintain accurate technical qualification, POC exit criteria, deal hygiene, and forecast reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of pre-sales engineering and security architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery architectures, immutable or air-gapped backup solutions, or identity-resilience systems, with a strong backup, recovery, storage, or hybrid-cloud infrastructure background.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID architecture, ransomware kill chains, immutability, air-gapping, and zero trust.
- Scripting and API proficiency, including Python and PowerShell, for demonstrations and POCs.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and executive audiences and work in a co-sell or specialist model.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
- Professional English proficiency and ability to travel as required.
- Preferred qualifications include specialist or overlay SE/SA experience at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor and technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security markets.
