Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, architecture, and development of complex applications for the global client-onboarding platform.
- Build high-performance, low-latency, scalable, and resilient applications, reusable components, services, microservices, and APIs.
- Guide and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and support professional growth.
- Communicate technical concepts and project status to technical stakeholders, business users, and senior management.
- Contribute to system design and architectural decisions while applying coding standards and best practices.
- Evaluate strategic initiatives through proof-of-concepts and transition successful concepts into production-ready solutions.
- Provide post-release support to business, development, and support teams.
- Develop software using test-driven development, strong unit-test coverage, and continuous integration practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring, real-time messaging, and related Java frameworks.
- Experience developing and maintaining highly scalable, real-time microservices and APIs.
- Proficiency with ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and Redux.
- Experience with real-time messaging middleware such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, or Tibco.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, object-oriented programming, architecture, algorithms, and software problem-solving.
- Experience with in-memory datastore or cache libraries such as Redis, Apache Ignite, or Gemfire is preferred.
- Exposure to Kotlin, system performance tuning, low-latency Java, multithreaded applications, CI/CD pipelines, and unit and end-to-end testing is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree in a relevant area, or equivalent experience.
