Responsibilities
- Serve as an experienced technical resource and initial escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate product performance and usability challenges, identify root causes, and help implement validated fixes.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to resolve customer and partner issues.
- Analyze customer requirements, competitive solutions, and product performance to support solution planning and roadmap input.
- Assist with strategic customer projects, application deployments, onsite testing, and product or feature selection.
- Manage and maintain company vision labs and remote testing infrastructure.
- Represent product management as a technical customer and partner contact and provide moderate Tier 3 technical support.
- Develop technical training, solution deployment processes, and stakeholder documentation.
- Design and architect system demonstrations for internal and external events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with fixed industrial scanning and/or machine vision solutions and related technology, products, and markets.
- Hands-on electrical engineering experience with schematics, wiring, and hand tools.
- Hands-on experience with machine vision, computer vision, or image processing, including cameras, lensing, lighting, filters, and focal lengths.
- Experience with Windows operating systems such as Windows 7 and Windows 10.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, common Linux toolsets, and scripting languages.
- General understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or logistics processes and environments is a plus.
- Certified Vision Professional – Basic certification is a plus.
