Responsibilities
- Drive large, complex projects autonomously from technical design through launch.
- Tackle complex architecture challenges and apply architectural standards to new projects.
- Lead code reviews and documentation and resolve complex, high-risk bugs.
- Partner across engineering teams on company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects.
- Transfer existing programming-language expertise into Java development.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Deep experience in a current programming language with the ability to excel as a Java developer.
- Ability to independently lead complex projects, address architecture challenges, and resolve high-risk technical problems.
- Ability to provide thorough code reviews, contribute documentation, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior engineers.
