Responsibilities
- Design and build components spanning API gateway, developer SDK/tooling, authentication, and integration lifecycle management.
- Contribute to the declarative SDK and compiler/code-generation pipeline for third-party integrations.
- Build a common gateway for authentication and request admission across third-party integrations.
- Partner with adjacent engineering teams to maintain stable identity and tenancy contracts as usage grows.
- Own reliability for the assigned area, including on-call and incident response.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code and design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of platform or infrastructure systems.
- Experience with or exposure to SDKs, schema/compiler systems, or declarative configuration engines.
- Experience building or operating gateway or edge systems handling authentication, traffic admission, and third-party integrations at scale.
- Ability to own a service or component from design through production.
- Comfort with a contract-first, public-facing surface mindset.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
