Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical design specifications for product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance activities and identify opportunities for platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer outcomes with organizational health.
- Lead architecture, design, reliability, scaling, implementation, and enhancement of software systems.
- Mentor development staff and assist teams with technical discussions and product feature delivery.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, AI, and engineering modernization initiatives.
- Conduct code reviews, provide actionable recommendations, and improve engineering quality and processes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate clearly with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, system engineering, and analytical systems design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains, with the ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Understanding of application monitoring, performance assessment, security architecture, security protocols, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
