Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full-stack features spanning frontend experiences, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Develop reusable frontend components using ReactJS or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build scalable Java and Python backend services and REST APIs with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Develop and operate high-throughput distributed ingestion, streaming, and storage systems using Kafka and ClickHouse.
- Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot production services on Kubernetes and Docker.
- Design and integrate AI-powered features, LLM-based capabilities, retrieval, and agentic workflows into products.
- Partner with product management, design, and engineering teams to take features from concept through production.
- Own instrumentation, observability, testing, and performance at scale, and participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong frontend experience with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in both Java and Python with experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience deploying and operating production services.
- Experience designing distributed systems for scalability, fault tolerance, messaging, and streaming, including Kafka.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, AI agents, MCP, or agentic frameworks applied in production or product contexts.
- Knowledge of data stores and pipelines, including Kafka and preferably analytical databases such as ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
