Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full-stack capabilities spanning backend services, frontend experiences, and data pipelines.
- Build and scale Java and Python backend services with reliable, well-documented REST APIs.
- Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes and operate distributed production systems.
- Develop high-throughput ingestion, streaming, and storage systems using Kafka and ClickHouse.
- Develop reusable frontend components with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Design and integrate AI-powered features, LLM-based capabilities, agentic workflows, retrieval, and agent frameworks into products.
- Partner with product management, design, and engineering teams to deliver features from concept through production.
- Own instrumentation, observability, testing, and performance at scale, and participate in technical reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
- Proficiency in both Java and Python, including hands-on REST API design and development.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience deploying and operating production services.
- Experience designing distributed systems for scalability, fault tolerance, and messaging or streaming, including Kafka.
- Frontend experience with ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS fundamentals.
- Experience or strong working knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, AI agents, MCP, or agentic frameworks in production or product contexts.
- Working knowledge of data stores and pipelines, including Kafka and preferably analytical databases such as ClickHouse.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-native development practices.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, and action-oriented problem-solving skills.
