Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform complex full-stack application development across backend services, web applications, and existing platforms.
  • Design RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and .NET/.NET Core.
  • Build responsive web user interfaces with Angular and Blazor.
  • Define technical architecture, data models, integration patterns, testing strategies, and performance considerations.
  • Own features end to end from requirements refinement and solution design through implementation, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure applications and services are secure, scalable, observable, and supportable.
  • Contribute to multi-year technology roadmaps and lead complex integration projects.
  • Use GitHub Copilot and other generative AI assistants, review AI-generated code, and help adopt AI-assisted coding workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, .NET, .NET Core, RESTful API design, and external service integration.
  • Experience with Angular, Blazor, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive UI development.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and functional design principles, secure coding, unit and integration testing, API and UI automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
  • Experience with Azure or another cloud platform, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, infrastructure as code, and monitoring/alerting is an asset.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OCP or similar orchestration platforms, containerized microservices, and service mesh concepts is an asset.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, message queues such as Service Bus, Kafka, or Solace, and event-driven architectures is an asset.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, GitHub Copilot or similar tools, and integrating AI into coding, documentation, and testing workflows is an asset.
