Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and support products and technical services for Global Transaction Banking clients.
  • Design, integrate, operationalize, and maintain scalable, reliable, secure systems and technical infrastructure.
  • Define development specifications, technical requirements, performance objectives, system modifications, and project documentation.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement build, buy, or reuse solutions to improve customer experience and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide technical consulting, oversee recommendations and implementations, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for engineering frameworks, technologies, systems, and business solutions.
  • Manage technical activities on larger projects, including analysis, design, support, and integration of systems and interfaces.
  • Maintain appropriate security controls, quality measures, standards, issue-prevention processes, and incident-resolution practices.
  • Conduct pre- and post-implementation reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Coach and educate colleagues while keeping current with emerging technologies, engineering practices, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of micro-app development using Azure, Java, Spring Boot, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, procedures, organizational issues, and TD applications and systems.
  • Advanced experience and expertise in the relevant engineering discipline, including TD standards, networks, innovation, and design activities.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree, preferably with a strong academic background in computer science or engineering.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, solve complex problems, take new perspectives on existing solutions, and serve as a subject matter expert for less-experienced colleagues.
