Base Salary
$136k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack applications and backend services using Python, TypeScript, React, and Go.
- Design, optimize, migrate, and maintain large SQL databases supporting Threat Intelligence applications and services.
- Identify reliability, performance, and correctness issues and improve runbooks, dashboards, alerting, automation, observability, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and threat intelligence stakeholders to deliver actionable intelligence capabilities.
- Manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs, ECS, Aurora/RDS, EC2, networking, SNS/SQS, and CDK.
- Use GitHub Actions, CloudWatch/Grafana, and Docker to support CI/CD and operational visibility.
Requirements
- Substantive production or enterprise experience designing, building, and maintaining Python systems with operational accountability.
- Required experience with PostgreSQL, or equivalent depth with a comparable relational database system.
- Hands-on experience provisioning and operating AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS databases, VPCs, and related services.
- Preferred experience with FastAPI, ClickHouse or other columnar/analytical datastores, high-volume telemetry, security-vendor environments, knowledge graphs, graph databases, CLI/TUI tooling, or Agentic/MCP technologies.
- Experience managing, maintaining, and tuning PostgreSQL databases at scale is a plus.
