Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable front-end and back-end application components.
- Build responsive and accessible interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a modern framework.
- Develop Python backend services, business logic, and RESTful APIs.
- Design and optimize relational or NoSQL data models, queries, migrations, and integrations.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, API, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Build, troubleshoot, and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, security scanning, packaging, and deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, reliability, and deployment issues across the full stack.
- Apply secure-development practices including authentication, authorization, input validation, secrets management, dependency management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/design, QA, DevOps, security, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- At least 5 years of professional full-stack software-development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development and JavaScript or TypeScript front-end development.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, modern front-end frameworks, RESTful APIs, relational databases, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices, including Scrum or Kanban, iterative development, story estimation, and backlog-driven delivery.
- Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, application observability, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, role-based access control, WCAG, Section 508, regulated environments, and DevSecOps practices.
