Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and launch innovative products and services.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that optimize services, cost, and security.
- Conduct insightful code reviews and take ownership of outcomes.
- Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems at scale.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed storage, indexing, and query systems.
- Design and code solutions for broadly defined problems in an agile development environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
