Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Solve ambiguous business problems and map them to technical solutions.
  • Build scalable systems using object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Innovate and build large-scale near-real-time streaming platforms.
  • Design, launch, refactor, re-architect, and deprecate multi-tier systems handling large amounts of data.
  • Develop features end-to-end with AI coding agents while owning correctness, security, and operational quality.
  • Build codebase context and scaffolding that improve AI agent effectiveness.
  • Identify automation opportunities in the software development lifecycle and ship agentic workflows.
  • Own core Inventory Authority Platform data services and interfaces used by other teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
