Base Salary

$117k - $177k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect a highly scalable, secure data platform that ingests and processes security data across Salesforce platforms and external environments.
  • Build and optimize pipelines that collect, store, and analyze security signals from vulnerability scanners, asset management systems, identity systems, cloud environments, and vendor platforms.
  • Integrate AI/ML and LLM capabilities, including RAG, agentic triage and remediation, anomaly detection, risk scoring, evaluations, guardrails, and cost and latency optimization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security Operations, Risk Management, Product Security, and Data Science teams to align the platform with business and security objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote cloud-native, secure, and AI-assisted development practices.
  • Own and deliver platform features while adapting to changing requirements and advocating for secure AI and agent design.
  • Establish data governance and quality frameworks supporting risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous security improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of industry experience for MTS, including at least 2 years of SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS software development experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in distributed systems, data engineering, high-performance and highly fault-tolerant systems, and large-scale infrastructure.
  • Experience with Docker-based development, especially Amazon EKS, Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, Puppet, Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and SQL or NoSQL systems.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented and multithreaded development using at least one of Python, Golang, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with systems patterns, API construction, Linux software development, authentication and authorization, secure transport, identity management, certificates, and PKI.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or ML models into production systems, including at least two of RAG pipelines, agent or tool-use frameworks, prompt engineering, LLM evaluations or observability, fine-tuning, or embeddings and vector stores.
  • Daily fluency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, with the ability to guide safe and effective team usage.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, project management, prioritization, and technical architecture skills.
  • Preferred experience applying AI/ML to security use cases, using MCP or agentic workflow frameworks, optimizing LLM cost and latency, implementing guardrails and prompt-injection defenses, and using vector databases.
