- Translate business and product strategy into architecture roadmaps, transition states, technical standards, and implementation plans.
- Lead architecture and design reviews covering components, integrations, data flows, security controls, and major enhancements.
- Establish scalable patterns for microservices, distributed systems, Kafka messaging, Cassandra, data stores, APIs, and cloud-connected environments.
- Guide legacy-platform modernization toward cloud-ready and cloud-native architectures while balancing risk, cost, customer commitments, and operational continuity.
- Own architecture artifacts including technical specifications, nonfunctional requirements, decision records, reference architectures, and estimates.
- Validate designs through prototypes, critical-path implementation, performance testing, code and design reviews, and production-readiness reviews.
- Drive improvements in scalability, performance, resilience, security, observability, maintainability, and supportability.
- Provide technical leadership during complex production incidents and sponsor durable architectural remediation.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, DevOps, operations, security, data, and enterprise architecture teams.
- Define engineering standards for API design, data management, code quality, automated testing, monitoring, alerting, and release readiness.
