Responsibilities
- Understand project goals and requirements, identify gaps and testing impediments, and assess high-risk areas.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test result reports.
- Perform manual, functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
- Drive test automation initiatives using scripting languages, automation frameworks, and tools.
- Create defect reports, track issues to resolution, and communicate problem impacts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development, business, and other teams to support project test phases and understand requirements.
- Provide timely test-result updates to management and help resolve anticipated quality issues.
- Manage conflicts, increase productivity, and support hiring and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- 4 to 6 years of software testing experience.
- Strong QA background in manual and functional testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plan and strategy documents, writing test cases, and gathering requirements.
- Experience with web services testing and formal software test design techniques.
- Experience with functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining test cases, reporting results, and using defect management tools.
- Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations, with hands-on experience in automation frameworks and tools.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, manage conflicts, identify testing challenges, and drive issue resolution.
- Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
