Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java, Spring Boot, and Python backend applications and microservices.
- Build AI agents, tool integrations, workflow orchestration patterns, and secure integrations with enterprise systems and HR applications.
- Create event-driven solutions using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
- Design and maintain data models and access patterns for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other relational or NoSQL databases.
- Containerize, deploy, scale, and operate services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle, including automated quality gates.
- Apply secure software development practices involving authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and secure API design.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design sessions, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
- Collaborate with product managers, HR stakeholders, architects, data scientists, and engineers, while mentoring engineers and promoting engineering standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Kafka and event streaming or messaging platforms.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and secure software development practices.
- Proficiency in Python for backend services, automation, or AI development is desired.
- Experience developing AI agents with MCP, ADK, tool integrations, and orchestration patterns is desired.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
