Responsibilities
- Translate system and subsystem software requirements into software-level requirements for each CSCI.
- Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineering teams to develop software architecture models using behavioral, structural, and analytical views.
- Support software product verification and validation to ensure integrated CSCIs function as intended.
- Perform requirements analysis, allocation, system and software design, implementation support, testing, integration, field integration testing, and requirements verification.
- Develop software use cases, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams and write and execute software test plans and test descriptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline and at least 12 years of systems engineering experience, or a Master of Science in an engineering discipline and at least 10 years of systems engineering experience.
- Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS and CAMEO.
- Embedded software experience and the ability to read code and verify implementation against Software Requirements Specifications.
- Experience with system, subsystem, software, and hardware integration, testing, and verification.
- Experience in the defense industry and aerospace-environment design.
- Current US Government Secret security clearance adjudicated within the past five years.
- Preferred experience with aerospace and defense technologies such as sensors, navigation aids, guidance electronics, controls, propulsion, structures, or platforms.
- Preferred technical knowledge in one or more military mission areas, including Air, Land, Sea, Space, or Cyber.
- Preferred experience assessing legacy system architecture and identifying future technology development opportunities.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.

- Primary base salary range is $177,000.00-$265,600.00 annually.

- The role is 100% on-site in Northridge, CA with no hybrid opportunities and requires approximately 10% travel.
