Responsibilities
- Translate system and subsystem software requirements into software-level requirements for each CSCI.
- Collaborate with systems and software engineers to develop software architecture models using behavioral, structural, and analytical views.
- Support software product verification and validation, system integration, field integration testing, and requirements verification.
- Analyze, allocate, and verify requirements with multiple stakeholders.
- Write software test plans and test descriptions and run tests.
- Assess legacy system architectures and contribute to future technology development.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline with at least 5 years of systems engineering experience for Level 3, or 8 years for Level 4.
- Alternatively, a Master of Science in engineering with at least 3 years of systems engineering experience for Level 3, or 6 years for Level 4.
- Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS and CAMEO.
- Embedded software experience, including the ability to read code and verify implementation against software requirements specifications.
- Experience with system, subsystem, software, and hardware integration, testing, and verification.
- Experience in the defense industry and aerospace-environment design.
- Current U.S. Government Secret clearance adjudicated within the past five years.
- Preferred experience includes aerospace and defense technologies, military mission areas, and legacy architecture assessment.
