Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Build and manage database schemas, queries, integrations, and data models.
- Implement authentication, authorization, API security, and data protection mechanisms.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, product teams, and other cross-functional partners to deliver features.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable code and participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, sprint planning, and AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of Java with Spring Boot, Node.js, Python with Django or Flask, or .NET Core.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and web services, with knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and MongoDB or Redis, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, API security, asynchronous processing, messaging systems, and caching strategies.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps, and Docker.
- Good-to-have experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, New Relic, Prometheus, and test-driven development.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work in an Agile environment.
