Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain highly scalable, high-availability microservices in financial domains.
  • Design and implement API, contract, integration, service, virtualization, mocking, test-data, and multi-environment testing.
  • Execute performance, load, chaos, resilience, and failure-mode testing for distributed and asynchronous systems.
  • Use production incidents, logs, alerts, defects, and customer-impact patterns to improve quality coverage and prevent recurring failures.
  • Lead squad-level technical outcomes and make engineering decisions involving system design, technical debt, reliability, observability, and business needs.
  • Mentor engineers, promote coding standards and best practices, and contribute to product planning and technology strategy.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex distributed systems and collaborate with engineers across squads.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, at least 5 years with an advanced degree, or at least 11 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 3 years of production experience with Go (Golang).
  • At least 2 years of experience with AWS Cloud.
  • Strong experience with service, API, distributed systems, performance, resilience, and software quality testing.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed transaction systems, messaging systems, event-driven architectures, and high-scale, high-availability environments.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex systems and apply production signals to identify systemic quality gaps.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, Docker or containers, observability practices, and Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with AI-driven development tools such as Claude, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, or Amazon Kiro is preferred.
