Base Salary
$80k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and refactor production software and platform systems.
- Design, operationalize, and scale critical infrastructure for enterprise data center and supply chain platforms.
- Build platform automation and declarative GitOps deployment workflows using Ansible, ArgoCD, and Flux.
- Implement and tune Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluent Bit for metrics, observability, and log processing.
- Troubleshoot and remediate systems across information technology disciplines, including applications, databases, networks, and operating systems.
- Install and upgrade applications or databases and perform system maintenance, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Support high-availability architecture, infrastructure-as-code, operational troubleshooting, and service resiliency across hybrid environments.
- Participate in rotational on-call support and mentor junior engineers through guidance and technical discussions.
Requirements
- At least three years of work experience; four to six years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field of study.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Experience with container orchestration and application platforms, particularly Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Cloud Foundry or VMware Tanzu Application Services.
- Experience with platform automation, GitOps deployment workflows, observability, high availability, infrastructure-as-code, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
- Experience troubleshooting and remediating systems, monitoring and tuning systems, networks, or databases, and using operating system commands, utilities, and scripting.
- Experience installing and upgrading applications or databases, performing system maintenance, and working with version control and CI/CD toolchains.
- Experience supporting a 24x7 retail operation and exposure to Site Reliability Engineering.
- Familiarity with system and environment analysis, design, optimization, debuggers, runtime analysis, library systems, compiled programming, and software update tools.
