Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and secure scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure.
- Lead platform engineering initiatives that improve developer productivity, deployment velocity, and operational efficiency.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code practices with Terraform and establish reusable infrastructure patterns and standards.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and self-service platform capabilities.
- Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and incident response practices.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Collaborate with Security teams on cloud security, infrastructure hardening, access management, compliance, and governance.
- Evaluate new technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-powered engineering tools.
- Lead technical discussions, architectural reviews, and infrastructure design decisions.
- Mentor engineers and advance DevOps, platform engineering, and SRE practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Deep hands-on experience designing, operating, and securing AWS environments.
- Strong Terraform expertise; Terramate or similar infrastructure orchestration experience is a plus.
- Experience managing containerized workloads with ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, identity management, and distributed systems.
- Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
- Proven ability to lead infrastructure initiatives and mentor engineers.
- Experience with large-scale, multi-account AWS environments is preferred.
- Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service infrastructure solutions is preferred.
- Experience implementing SRE practices, including SLOs, SLIs, and reliability metrics, is preferred.
- Experience supporting cloud security, compliance, and governance initiatives is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tooling, automation platforms, or cloud-native AI services is preferred.
- AWS Professional, Security Specialty, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar cloud certifications are preferred.
