Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional designs for .NET Framework solutions.
- Define functional architectures integrating applications, data, and processes across multiple systems.
- Guide engineering teams with functional specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Review solution designs and technical approaches for alignment with requirements, performance expectations, and compliance guidelines.
- Coordinate feature prioritization and enhancements with product owners and analysts.
- Analyze existing applications to identify functional gaps and recommend improvements.
- Define functional test strategies, scenarios, validation steps, test cases, and traceability matrices with QA teams.
- Create and maintain process flows, use-case narratives, functional documentation, and configuration guidelines.
- Analyze production incidents and defects to identify root causes and recommend structural improvements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on resilience, scalability, and security expectations.
- Support estimation and planning by clarifying work items, dependencies, and effort assessments.
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and cross-functional communication across distributed teams.
- Incorporate accessibility, usability, maintainability, and future extensibility into functional solutions.
Requirements
- More than 15 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications using the .NET Framework.
- Strong proficiency converting business processes into functional specifications, user stories, and process models.
- Deep understanding of modular design, reusable components, integration patterns, and performance optimization within .NET Framework solutions.
- Experience working in hybrid environments with distributed teams and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with layered architectures, service-oriented approaches, and cloud-ready patterns for .NET Framework systems.
- Experience partnering with testing teams on functional test cases, traceability matrices, and acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, security awareness, and data protection considerations.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder alignment.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or an equivalent .NET and enterprise architecture certification is preferred.
