Responsibilities
- Develop new programs and modify existing Oracle E-Business Suite programs based on business requirements.
- Design and develop reports, interfaces, customizations, extensions, workflows, and other custom solutions.
- Lead requirements-gathering meetings and assist business users with Oracle module configuration and setup.
- Perform testing, UAT preparation, test-environment preparation after cloning, and production support.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues, provide workarounds or resolutions, and support end users.
- Use SQL*Loader to refresh tables for business reporting and project needs.
- Monitor system health, assist with maintenance tasks, and investigate Oracle application modules.
- Collaborate with Oracle support staff, business users, internal developers, and third-party development teams.
- Provide technical support to other IT developers and follow Oracle technology developments for the e-business suite.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory IT general controls over the production environment.
- Mentor and review the work of functional team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12, primarily in Finance and Accounting modules.
- At least 7 years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and SQL/PLSQL development tools.
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- At least 5 years of experience with XML/BI Publisher.
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Workflow Builder.
- At least 2 years of experience with a Unix flavor operating system.
- At least 2 years of experience with Oracle Application Framework is desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, presentation, conflict-management, and business-process skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, collaborate in a matrix environment, and maintain composure with business users.
- Experience mentoring and reviewing functional team members’ work.
- Knowledge of general business operating principles and strong business acumen.
