Senior Oracle Applications Developer - Order Management

Responsibilities
- Own assignments through business requirements, technical definition, development, testing, UAT, and production support.
- Develop and modify Oracle programs, reports, interfaces, customizations, extensions, workflows, and custom solutions.
- Lead requirements-gathering meetings and assist business users with Oracle module configuration and setup.
- Troubleshoot Oracle application and production issues, provide workarounds or resolutions, and deliver Level 2 and end-user support.
- Prepare test environments after cloning activities and support system maintenance tasks.
- Work with Oracle support staff, business users, internal developers, and third-party development teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor system health, investigate Oracle application modules, and support interfaces with other systems.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to IT developers and review the work of functional team members.
- Follow Oracle technology developments and maintain SOX and other regulatory IT general controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12, primarily in Order Management modules.
- At least 7 years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and SQL/PLSQL development tools.
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- At least 5 years of experience with XML/BI Publisher and Oracle Workflow Builder.
- At least 2 years of experience with a Unix operating system; Oracle Application Framework experience is desirable.
- Advanced troubleshooting, requirements analysis, strong business-process understanding, and business acumen.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, conflict-management, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and work in matrix teams with onshore and offshore development groups.
