Responsibilities

Lead customer-facing implementation project teams and complete work within project schedules, budgets, and methodology requirements.
Lead design sessions, gather and analyze requirements, define solutions, and develop specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms, and configurations.
Provide functional, application, domain, and industry expertise while coordinating with technical team members and project stakeholders.
Define QA protocols and test plans, support or conduct unit, system, and integration testing, and manage client User Acceptance Testing.
Support go-live, cutover, knowledge transfer, client readiness, and transition to production support.
Assist with project planning, risk and issue identification, resource planning, and future implementation phases.
Provide subject matter expertise during business development activities with potential clients and sales personnel.
Identify client training and support needs and coordinate effective handoff to PowerPlan’s Support organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
5–9 years of experience implementing enterprise software applications in a client-facing consulting role, preferably in software consulting or IT.
Experience with at least three phases of the implementation process and a robust implementation methodology.
Experience leading project teams or direct reports, with a history of increasing responsibility or upward progression.
Strong client consulting, relationship-building, collaboration, communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to document technical and functional requirements, distinguish technology requests from business needs, and translate complex technical requirements into common language.
Preferred experience implementing ERP, EAM, and CRM applications and working knowledge of financial accounting processes.
Preferred technical knowledge of Java SE, JavaScript, SQL, web services, REST, XML, system and network architecture, databases, data models, network protocols, and advanced Excel functions.
Preferred experience with capital projects, capital budgets, fixed asset accounting, business tax software, utilities or other asset-intensive industries, and test management software such as qTest or HP ALM.
Preferred three years of SQL experience or strong technical aptitude.
