Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous, efficient end-to-end quality engineering function using automation, quality processes, tools, and innovative testing solutions.
- Design, develop, configure, and support SAP FPSL solutions for financial reporting and subledger accounting.
- Maintain SAP FPSL accounting rules, posting logic, and data processing functionality.
- Integrate SAP FPSL with SAP S/4HANA Finance, General Ledger, BW, and upstream and downstream applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical and functional solutions.
- Support IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable.
- Perform impact analysis, root cause analysis, and production incident resolution.
- Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation, including design specifications and knowledge-transfer documents.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional SAP teams.
- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong experience in SAP FPSL configuration and support.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance, FI/CO, and Universal Journal.
- Experience with accounting principles, financial instruments, and subledger processing.
- Knowledge of SAP Banking or Insurance solutions.
- Experience with credit solutions such as BS9 and learning knowledge of ABAP.
- Understanding of data migration and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with interfaces using SAP BW, SLT, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, or APIs.
- Exposure to SAP HANA and CDS Views is advantageous.
