Base Salary
$209k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect resilient, enterprise-scale systems for experimentation, audience segmentation, and customer journey orchestration.
- Scale high-performance engines that optimize message effectiveness and analyze customer responsiveness using machine learning and personalization techniques.
- Integrate AI, agentic workflows, and distributed streaming architectures for journey orchestration, automated creative testing, and targeted segment delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally with data science, product, and engineering teams as a technical innovator and system-level architect.
- Mentor and guide software engineers while promoting technical excellence, experimentation, and hands-on innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience required, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 9+ years of experience with Python, Java, Go, SQL, or similar technologies.
- Preferred: 4+ years of cloud service experience, open source framework experience, and distributed streaming technology experience such as Apache Kafka.
- Preferred: 4+ years of people management experience or experience mentoring engineers.
- Preferred: 2+ years of Agile practices and proficiency in system architecture, system design, and large-scale low-latency applications.
- Experience with interactive AI tooling, agentic AI workflows, machine learning or AI-driven systems, and experimentation or A/B and MAB testing frameworks.
