Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable components for the S3 Data Service platform.
- Build maintainable and performant backend services using Java and Spring.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions with product management.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and L3 support teams to ensure product stability and reliability.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in coding, testing, documentation, code reviews, and engineering-standard improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, and distributed-system layers.
Requirements
- 15–22 years of software development experience with strong Java expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Core, Boot, and Data, and backend service development.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with storage technologies such as Cassandra, Hadoop, or Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with the S3 object storage protocol or related storage technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and infrastructure-level debugging.
- Experience with Maven or similar build systems.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver reliable solutions.
- Preferred: Python scripting experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Preferred: exposure to distributed file systems or high-availability storage solutions.
- Preferred: understanding of security, data consistency models, and fault-tolerant architectures.
