Responsibilities
- Build, deliver, and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems.
- Develop software, automation, and infrastructure solutions that improve reliability, performance, availability, scalability, and usability.
- Monitor infrastructure and system performance, identify and resolve issues and outages, and use data to reduce mean time to resolution.
- Implement secure configurations and protections against cyberattacks, vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define infrastructure requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Lead or guide complex assignments, advise stakeholders, manage risk and controls, and contribute to policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience with Python and Java, preferably Java 11 or Java 17.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development, microservices development, Spring Boot, and Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of Git-based source control, CI/CD tools, container technologies, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Exposure to at least one of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and an understanding of cloud-native application development principles.
- Basic understanding of generative AI concepts, AI-assisted development tools, LLM integrations, AI APIs, and AI-driven automation opportunities.
- Knowledge of SRE concepts, operational excellence, monitoring and observability tools, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is desirable.
- Understanding of security, risk, and control requirements in regulated environments and experience in financial services or large enterprise environments are desirable.
