Responsibilities
- Build successful customer relationships and provide technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Advise customers on architecture, design, implementation, and adoption of the Databricks data and AI platform.
- Write code, build working prototypes and demos, and create reusable assets to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Author reference architectures, how-to materials, and demo applications.
- Lead customer workshops, seminars, and meetups and develop into a technical or industry specialist.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of technical experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala and proficiency in SQL.
- A builder mindset with interest in hands-on prototyping, learning-by-doing, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka is preferred.
- Strong customer interaction skills and the ability to meet technical training and role-specific expectations within 6 months of hire.
