VP, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Lead - GenAI

Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and repeatable cloud infrastructure strategies for GenAI workloads in partnership with cloud engineering, architecture, security, application, data, operations, and FinOps teams.
- Design secure, performant, reliable, and repeatable infrastructure patterns for AI research, testing, development, and production environments.
- Set up and maintain AI models, GenAI sandboxes, research environments, and infrastructure supporting model exploration and assessment.
- Monitor and optimize cloud workloads for performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Manage cloud estimation, cost transparency, and financial management in collaboration with FinOps.
- Support GenAI initiatives through exploration, build, and rollout phases by providing fit-for-purpose cloud infrastructure and platforms.
- Lead teams through software development lifecycle, Agile, and DevSecOps processes and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure management and 4+ years of cloud experience.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, primarily AWS, and related tools and services.
- Strong understanding of cloud security postures and experience enabling policy as code with Prisma.
- Knowledge or experience with AWS Bedrock and associated LLMs, or proficiency with Terraform and knowledge of Ansible.
- Proficiency with Microsoft platforms such as GitHub and knowledge of Copilot, Amazon Q, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and significant experience leading teams through Agile and DevSecOps processes, ideally in AWS and Python environments.
- Experience with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system monitoring for production applications.
- Preferred certifications include AWS, FinOps, Azure, and GenAI certifications for LLMs or platforms such as Bedrock or Copilot.
