Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and engineers to understand requirements and estimate development work.
- Design and architect microservices.
- Write maintainable, scalable, testable code and services.
- Develop full-stack experiences, including engaging front-end interfaces and robust back-end systems.
- Own services from inception through deployment, monitor their health, and resolve production issues while meeting SLAs.
- Research new features and technologies and participate in live-site reviews and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and VueJS.
- Experience with C#, Java, C++, NodeJS, or another backend programming language.
- Full-stack development experience, preferably with object-oriented languages such as C# and Java.
- Experience working with Designers and Usability Researchers, object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, and agile development environments.
- Experience with Git and continuous integration and deployment tools.
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience includes scalable services, RESTful web services, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, cross-browser behavior, telemetry, cloud computing technologies such as Azure, and strong problem-solving skills.
