Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable new solutions and product improvements for NinjaOne’s IT Operations product suite.
- Develop high-quality Java and Kotlin software applications and mission-critical services running at scale across millions of endpoints.
- Commit production code, apply design patterns, and solve enterprise-level software challenges.
- Design and develop high-availability systems, scalable data structures, APIs, relational databases, client/server applications, and caching solutions.
- Contribute to quality-first engineering practices and support fellow engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of Java software development experience for product applications or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience working with highly scalable software systems.
- Solid Kotlin expertise and experience solving systems-at-scale challenges.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented design principles, API best practices, REST service development, and relational database design and development.
- Experience with client- and server-side development, responsive messaging, caching systems, and Redis.
- Expert knowledge of scaling data structures, object-oriented design, and quality testing practices; Jersey or Spring experience is preferred.
