Responsibilities
- Act as the architecture counterpart for customer enterprise architects and technical leadership from pre-sales through large-scale production deployments.
- Design target solution architectures connecting Taktile with customers’ core systems, data platforms, and surrounding services.
- Resolve complex questions involving integration patterns, deployment models, throughput, latency, security, compliance, and data residency.
- Lead architecture workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and reference architecture reviews with stakeholders up to CTO level.
- Represent Taktile in senior customer architecture discussions.
- Create reusable reference architectures, integration blueprints, and best practices for Forward Deployed Engineering and Sales teams.
- Support Account Executives and Solution Engineers on complex enterprise deals and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to align sold solutions with delivered implementations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture, including significant work with large enterprises.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS and enterprise integration patterns including event-driven architectures, messaging, APIs, batch, and streaming.
- Experience integrating modern SaaS platforms with legacy systems such as core banking platforms, loan origination systems, loan management systems, front-end SDKs, mainframes, and on-premises estates.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance for regulated enterprises, including authentication, authorization, network architecture, encryption, data residency, and audit requirements.
- Ability to communicate architecture to deeply technical and executive audiences and operate across pre-sales and post-sales.
- Preferred experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Principal Consultant at a B2B SaaS company, cloud provider, or consultancy serving financial institutions.
- Preferred experience designing production architectures involving AI/ML or Generative AI workloads.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or TOGAF are preferred.
- Experience responding to enterprise RFPs and security or architecture reviews is preferred.
