Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical delivery of GenAI solution areas or workstreams from design through production rollout.
- Lead a small cross-functional team of engineers and data specialists through the delivery lifecycle.
- Design LLM, RAG, prompt orchestration, agentic workflow, and enterprise integration solutions for insurance use cases.
- Design and tune chunking, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval, grounding, evaluation, guardrails, monitoring, versioning, and cost or latency optimization.
- Implement multi-agent and tool-calling workflows and integrate solutions with insurance platforms and enterprise data or content systems.
- Manage architecture decisions, technical risks, dependencies, quality checks, blockers, timelines, and delivery outcomes.
- Advise client stakeholders, present technical concepts and demos, coordinate across business, IT, and compliance teams, and mentor junior engineers and consultants.
- Apply responsible AI practices including PII handling, bias mitigation, explainability, hallucination controls, and model governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions and production generative AI initiatives.
- Hands-on experience delivering production-grade systems and working with LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Llama, or Mistral.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
- Practical expertise in RAG design, embeddings, and vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or Azure AI Search.
- Experience with agentic architectures, function or tool calling, structured outputs, prompt engineering, evaluation, and LLM guardrails or safety.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and LLMOps tooling.
- Understanding of system design, API design, integration patterns, secure handling of sensitive data, responsible AI, and model governance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and business audiences.
- Preferred qualifications include GenAI or AI/ML delivery experience in insurance or financial services, familiarity with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, ACORD forms, loss runs, or policy documents, productionizing proofs of concept, and relevant cloud or AI certifications.
