Responsibilities
- Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops at events, accelerator programs, and industry conferences.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with startup CTOs, founders, lead architects, and engineering teams.
- Help customers design and scale modern data platforms using BigQuery, real-time streaming, and vector databases.
- Guide startups in implementing Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic workflows using first-party and partner model ecosystems.
- Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, address technical objections, and design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role within the cloud computing industry.
- Experience designing, architecting, and deploying cloud-native applications, containerized environments using Kubernetes/GKE, and modern data pipelines.
- Experience with high-growth, venture-backed startups or scaleups is preferred.
- Background as a startup CTO, lead architect, or head of engineering, or equivalent startup lifecycle experience, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data warehouses, real-time analytics, and data governance, including BigQuery, Spark, and Kafka, is preferred.
- Deep Generative AI expertise, including prompt engineering, model tuning, vector databases, and AI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, is preferred.
- Startup and AI ecosystem participation through public speaking, technical writing, or community contribution is preferred.
