Responsibilities
- Hire, mentor, and grow the UAE pre-sales field engineering team.
- Build a collaborative, motivated, and diverse team culture.
- Improve the effectiveness and return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
- Ensure solution- and value-based selling across the field engineering organization.
- Support complex sales cycles and communicate complex, business-value-focused solutions.
- Engage customer executives and build strategic partnerships with major accounts.
- Align with partners and internal Services teams on account implementation strategies.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to strengthen Databricks’ brand across the region.
- Establish processes that improve efficiency and product focus for technical field teams.
Requirements
- Experience managing successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals.
- Experience in consumption-based business environments.
- Experience mentoring and scaling technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with Sales and other cross-functional leaders.
- Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, database technologies, or Data Science.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate the value of Databricks solutions.
- Experience working with clients in the UAE.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Passion for the data, AI, and cloud software markets.
