Responsibilities
- Develop a holistic test approach for applications and their subcomponents.
- Build and maintain functional, regression, smoke, and automated tests.
- Execute tests, schedule automation scripts around release cycles, and produce test reports.
- Review test results, analyze failures, and raise defects with development teams.
- Update test scripts as functionality changes and achieve strong test coverage.
- Maintain testing standards and contribute to quality, knowledge sharing, and reliable production releases.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of functional testing experience and 5–8 years of relevant QA Engineer experience.
- Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, software testing lifecycles, and test data maintenance.
- Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, SQL, RDBMS databases, Unix/Linux environments, and basic shell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, organization, and teamwork skills.
- ISEB Software Testing certification, Selenium, HP UFT, unit testing, Agile methodologies, and scripting experience are desirable.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
