Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and support software components for Authentication Decisioning products.
- Design and implement APIs and backend services supporting authentication and decisioning workflows.
- Enhance existing services while maintaining quality, security, performance, and resiliency.
- Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, transaction flows, and service behavior.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, maintenance, upgrades, and platform improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, SRE teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to documentation, design reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience developing software using Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot or comparable enterprise development frameworks.
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL database technologies.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with automated testing practices and modern software development workflows.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
- Interest in distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and highly scalable applications.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and learning skills.
