Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and support software components for Authentication Decisioning products.
  • Design and implement APIs and backend services supporting authentication and decisioning workflows.
  • Enhance existing services while maintaining quality, security, performance, and resiliency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, transaction flows, and service behavior.
  • Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, maintenance, upgrades, and platform improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, SRE teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to documentation, design reviews, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience developing software using Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot or comparable enterprise development frameworks.
  • Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL database technologies.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with automated testing practices and modern software development workflows.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
  • Interest in distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and highly scalable applications.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and learning skills.
