Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop production-grade Java applications and enterprise-system prototypes and integrations using AI-assisted development tools.
- Build front-end functionality with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Contribute to prompt engineering, AI workflow design, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted debugging.
- Own live application health through incident response, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and rapid resolution.
- Handle JSON/XML message manipulation and database-level troubleshooting.
- Improve resilience, reduce technical debt, raise code quality, and enhance refactoring, test coverage, and monitoring.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 3–5 years of commercial experience across the full software development lifecycle, including design, build, test, deployment, and support.
- Strong Core Java skills with experience in Spring, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST, plus API design.
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and familiarity with Hibernate.
- Experience using Git and JIRA in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Active practical use of AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, with demonstrable impact on delivery, testing, debugging, or architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred familiarity with JSP, Kafka, Spring Batch, event-driven architectures, DevSecOps, or SRE practices.
