Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, high-performing enterprise Java applications.
- Build APIs and microservices for reliable integration across distributed systems.
- Translate business and architectural requirements into technical solutions, design documentation, and implementation roadmaps.
- Identify security risks and champion secure coding, reliability, availability, and performance practices.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to software delivery and continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and promote engineering excellence.
- Use AI-enabled development practices, automation, and testing to improve engineering workflows and software quality.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing enterprise Java applications that follow architectural standards.
- Demonstrated experience building APIs and microservices for distributed systems.
- Proven system design experience, including technical solution development and implementation planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical judgment skills.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and modern cloud-native development practices is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Experience with containerization, cloud platforms, monitoring, or observability solutions is preferred.
- Experience with Angular or React and an understanding of full-stack development is preferred.
- Experience using AI tools and technologies for code quality, development workflows, automated testing, or software lifecycle innovation is preferred.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives is preferred.
