Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure enterprise software solutions.
- Build Java backend services using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, microservices, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Develop and integrate frontend applications using React, React Native, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Redux.
- Implement application security controls including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, secure token handling, input validation, and OWASP practices.
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor development teams, and guide technical assignments.
- Implement unit and automated testing practices and collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, QA, security, and DevOps teams.
- Support cloud-native deployments, performance optimization, system resiliency, fault tolerance, high availability, and monitoring.
- Communicate complex technical solutions to stakeholders and senior leadership while managing risk and strengthening controls.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java JDK 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and scalable secure enterprise applications.
- Strong experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, backend services, JPA/Hibernate, API documentation, and frontend-backend integration.
- Proficiency with React 18, React Native, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Redux.
- Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, secure application development, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and OWASP security controls.
- Experience leading technical design discussions, conducting code reviews, mentoring development teams, and working in Agile environments.
- Experience with API Gateway patterns, performance tuning, AWS or Azure, ELK, Splunk, or AppDynamics is valued.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Jest, Appium, Detox, Insomnia, or Postman is valued.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms, BPM/BAMOE, workflow orchestration, process automation, BPMN 2.0, and resilient high-availability systems is valued.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills are required.
- Banking domain experience in payments, lending/mortgages, customer onboarding, or core banking systems is valued.
