Responsibilities
- Design and implement Java-based SDKs and API services for MasterPass and other digital payments products.
- Collaborate with technical leads, Product Management, stakeholders, and technical delivery teams.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to implementation of robust features and services.
- Research frameworks and technologies and assist with prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high level of code quality.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected violations, and complete required security training.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and application servers.
- Experience integrating web services.
- Understanding of web- and mobile-browser-based applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Test Driven Development, Git, eCommerce, and continuous delivery and integration is desirable.
