Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Java 17+ Spring Boot microservices.
- Design and evolve REST APIs, domain models, validation flows, and integration contracts.
- Participate in architecture discussions involving data models, service boundaries, event flows, and performance constraints.
- Perform code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and coach less experienced team members.
- Provide estimates and contribute to planning and refinement sessions.
- Implement unit, integration, functional, and relevant performance and load testing.
- Investigate, reproduce, and fix issues across test, acceptance, and production environments.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and development practices.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for deployments, configurations, and service ownership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise or distributed systems.
- Solid knowledge of REST API design, validation, error handling, and contract evolution.
- Hands-on experience with Spring testing libraries.
- Ability to mentor and support team members.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
- Microservices, Azure DevOps, and Docker experience are nice to have.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Mandatory bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
