Responsibilities
- Develop software using Agile methodologies and the KnowBe4 Software Development Lifecycle.
- Provide technical direction and assistance to team members.
- Define solutions to complex technical problems.
- Contribute to new technology developments, potentially resulting in patents or publications.
- Translate strategic goals into operational plans.
- Coordinate efforts across functional boundaries.
- Act as team lead for larger sub-projects or entire small projects.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals in a typed, compiled language such as Rust, C#, Go, or Java.
- Experience with AWS serverless architecture including Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Understanding of identity and authentication concepts like OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and JWT.
- Experience in distributed systems design and event-driven architecture.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code at scale.
- Leadership in API design and versioning strategies.
- Strong technical communication skills for design documentation and architecture reviews.
