Responsibilities
- Create and execute manual and automated software tests.
- Review feature acceptance criteria and write test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate interoperability across access control appliances, the Security Center platform, and third-party systems.
- Analyze, document, and track defects identified during testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve regression coverage.
- Propose and implement tools and practices that improve quality assurance efficiency.
- Collaborate with developers and provide usability and testability feedback.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with manual and/or automated software testing.
- Experience with one or more test automation tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, learning ability, ownership, and collaboration.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Kanban or other Agile methodologies is an asset.
- Knowledge of API testing with tools such as Bruno and REST endpoints is an asset.
- Experience with access control or physical security systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and the .NET ecosystem is an asset.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and C#, F#, PowerShell, or Python is an asset.
