Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end SAP MDG solution architecture and design for Business Partner and Material Master data.
  • Lead and coordinate global MDG deployments, process harmonization, and master-data standardization.
  • Define data-governance frameworks, data-quality rules, and stewardship processes.
  • Design and support integrations between SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, and CRM, EWM, PLM, and legacy systems.
  • Coordinate WRICEF objects, data-migration strategies, and master-data-related change requests with development teams.
  • Guide projects through blueprint, realization, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live support.
  • Support release and change management for stable and compliant MDG enhancements.
  • Mentor internal teams, advise on MDG topics, and document solution decisions in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Travel up to 30% to Liebherr sites worldwide to support business teams and global rollouts.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years of SAP MDG experience on S/4HANA with hands-on design and deployment experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Expertise in Business Partner and Material Master domains, including customer, vendor, and product-data harmonization.
  • Knowledge of the S/4HANA Business Partner model and integration with logistics, procurement, finance, service, and PLM processes.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, derivation rules, validations, duplicate checks, change-request workflows, SAP BRF+, and MDG consolidation or mass processing.
  • Experience designing integrations using SOA, ALE/IDocs, RFC, OData, and API-based connectivity.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP extensions, Information Steward, Data Services, and SAP Data Intelligence is preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across IT and business audiences.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other agile delivery tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German or other languages are advantageous.
  • SAP MDG certification or equivalent credentials are preferred.
