Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software tools and applications for aerospace systems and products.
- Translate system and software requirements into robust implementations.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement of software development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software bugs and defects.
- Collaborate with global engineering and project engineering teams.
- Support software releases, design activities, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as software engineering, science, technology, or mathematics.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, preferably in embedded systems or aerospace-related applications.
- Proficiency in C++ and C, with understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of hardware-software integration, debugging, embedded software design, and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with DO-178C, avionics software development, embedded software testing, and aerospace industry standards.
- Experience with version control systems, software testing methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines is valued.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and learn new technologies.
- Must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person or be able to obtain export authorization.
